The Purpose
Starting a business without planning is one of the primary reasons for business failure, launching a web project without the proper planning is not the smartest way to go either. In an e-Plan, which is often incorporated into an overall business plan, we look at things like: development needs and costs, site marketing and costs, target audience, and site objectives.
17 out of 20 of your customers turn to search engines for help. But when they enter the name of one of your products or services, do they learn about you? Probably not.
In the crowded, competitive world of e-marketing, only a handful of businesses make it to the top of the search engine listings. Even many of the biggest, most profitable companies don't show up in the top 50, 75 or 100.
If you use search engines yourself, you know this: the top is the only place to be. Wading through page after page of search engine results is no fun! Most of your potential customers won't bother.
